We are seeking a Saw Operator to work in our Monroe, NC facility. In this position you are responsible for cutting orders to meet customer expectations using a variety of saws including abrasive saws, MFL saws, and band saws. A successful candidate will demonstrate an attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
 
This is a night shift position from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, working Monday – Thursday.
 
Additional Responsibilities

  • Cutting samples of metal
  • Operate as necessary to cut off prescribed sections and properly dispose
  • Set up machines, change blades, clean machine, and perform simple machine maintenance as needed
  • Read and interpret milling instructions “MIs”
  • Use tape measure and other measuring devices
  • Stamping materials with proper ID and put slings around the finished products
  • Maintain logs and records

Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma / GED
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • One (1) year of manufacturing experience is preferred
