Patrol Officer (MP2)
About the Position:
The Patrol Officer (MP2) is an experienced law enforcement professional who protects the lives and property of Marshville residents through proactive policing, emergency response, criminal investigations, traffic enforcement, and community engagement. Officers in this role work with greater independence, handle more complex incidents, and help mentor newer officers while supporting the daily operations of the Police Department.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- North Carolina Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) Certification
- Minimum of 2 years of law enforcement experience (or as determined by the Town's approved pay plan)
- Valid NC Driver’s License
- Must meet all Town of Marshville and NCPOST requirements
