Dori Armstead joined Wingate University in March 2018 as the Vice President of Human Resources.  Prior to joining Wingate, she served as the Director of Human Resources at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) where she provided HR leadership and support to 600+ employees. 

While serving at the NCAA, Dori also helped design, develop and implement human resources strategies focused on talent acquisition, on-boarding, leadership development, talent management and employee engagement. 

Dori earned her Master of Human Resource Development from Clemson University and is also a proud alumna of Ball State University. 

She recently served as a board member of the YMCA Avondale Meadows and served on the Ball State University Black Alumni Constituency Board for over 10 years.
