Monroe, N.C. – After more than 11 years of extraordinary leadership and unwavering dedication to the businesses and community of Union County, Pat Kahle, president & CEO of the Union County Chamber of Commerce, has announced her retirement, effective June 1, 2025.
Pat’s exceptional contributions have been pivotal in advancing the mission of the Union County Chamber, driving economic growth, fostering collaboration, and championing the success of our members. Her passion for serving Union County’s business community has left a profound and lasting impact on our organization and the region as a whole.
"We are incredibly grateful for Pat’s leadership and the lasting impact she has made on our organization and the entire community," said Shane Fraser, chair of the Union County Chamber Board of Directors. "Pat’s dedication to our mission has been nothing short of inspiring, and we are proud of all that we have accomplished under her guidance."
The Board will work diligently to ensure a seamless transition and will follow the Chamber’s Succession Plan, which was approved by the Board of Directors in 2022. The Chamber will hire an executive search firm to lead the search for a new president & CEO and expects to announce a new leader by June 1, 2025.
