Union Power Cooperative is an electric distribution cooperative headquartered in Monroe, N.C. Incorporated in 1939, the Cooperative is a not-for-profit organization currently serving more than 80,000 member accounts in Union, Stanly, Cabarrus, Mecklenburg, and Rowan counties.

Our mission is to enhance the quality of life of our members and the communities we serve by delivering on our promise to provide safe, reliable electric power and energy services with exceptional value.

Maintaining nearly 6,500 total miles of lines, we are one of the largest and fastest growing cooperatives in North Carolina.
