Behind Matoro is Maryuri Alba, a remarkable woman who combines decades of legal-document experience with an unshakable passion for helping others. Born in Colombia, South America, and the daughter of immigrants, Maryuri has lived firsthand the emotional pain, confusion, and systemic barriers that families face while trying to establish themselves legally and successfully in the United States.

Maryuri holds a degree in Psychology from the City College of New York (CCNY), and she has spent her life serving individuals and families with diverse needs. Her work spans legal support, banking processes, tech systems, and project management. She is a relentless fighter, a compassionate advocate, and someone who goes far beyond what is expected to help others.

An animal lover and environmental advocate, Maryuri is known not only for her strength and intelligence but for her empathy and deep sense of purpose. After years of supporting attorneys, banks, and professionals, she chose to launch Matoro to help people start a new life with dignity, structure, and support.
