We are a busy on-site diesel repair company seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Service Manager. The Assistant Service Manager is responsible for ensuring that the Service department consistently delivers an exceptional experience to our Red Rover Service customers. This role involves increasing store revenue, building a culture of accountability and professional development, and engaging new customers.

Job Duties
· Taking phone calls and scheduling service appointments
· Providing estimates for service work
· Recruiting new technicians and ensuring they are fully trained before going out on their own
· Assisting in ordering parts for technicians
· Dispatching technicians, tracking work being performed, and keeping customers up to date
· Performing other duties as assigned by the owner
· Emphasizing Customer Service, Customer Service, Customer Service!!!

Ideal Candidate Skills
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in a related field (Automotive or Truck Repair)
· Computer experience (Outlook, Excel, Google)
· Strong customer relations and communication skills
· Sales goal driven
· Good leadership abilities
· Positive, can-do attitude
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Reliability and punctuality
· Detail-oriented
· Ability to handle tough situations on the fly to get the customer back on the road
· Capability to collect payments from customers
· Independence after training

Eligibility Requirements
· Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
· Valid Driver License and Clean Driving record
· Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Required)
· Sales: 2 years (Required)

Compensation / Benefits
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
