Job Summary

Icon Aerospace in Indian Trail, NC is looking for Avionics Technicians to our growing company. The ideal candidate enjoys electronic re-pairing/ re-building, diagnostic testing and interpreting test results. This position requires self-motivation, organization and independent problem solving.

Duties

• Install, test, and maintain avionics equipment and systems in compliance with industry standards.
• Perform troubleshooting and repair of electronic systems, including navigation, communication, and flight control systems.
• Utilize tools such as multimeters to diagnose issues effectively.
• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Perform heavy lifting as necessary when handling equipment or components.
• Engage in equipment repair tasks, including soldering when required.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed on aircraft components.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Avionics Technician or similar role.
• Assist with reading and interpreting production illustrations (PI), wiring diagrams, schematics, understanding symbols, flag notes, and general notes.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks associated with equipment handling.
• Experience using a multimeter and soldering.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
