Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of experience to join our team, with a primary focus on real estate matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a developing attorney to gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of law and work closely with experienced attorneys.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload with supervision from senior attorneys
- Handle residential and commercial real estate transactions from contract to closing
- Conduct title examinations and resolve title issues
- Draft and review purchase agreements, deeds, loan documents, and closing documents
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, motions, and contracts
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Attend necessary hearings, depositions, mediations, and court appearances
- Maintain accurate case files and meet deadlines
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar
- 2-4 years of relevant legal experience (general practice or related areas preferred)
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to professionalism and client service
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in one or more of the following: Real Estate, Civil Litigation, Family Law, Business Law, Estate Planning
