Location: Charlotte, NC (Office is located in South Charlotte, and this is an on-site position)
Compensation: $50,000 – $65,000 per year (based on experience, includes contribution toward healthcare and paid time off)
Schedule: Full-time 9 am-4 pm, Monday–Friday

About the Role

A boutique estate attorney is seeking an Operations Specialist to serve as the organizational hub and client care champion for our boutique estate law practice. In this highly independent role, you’ll manage the attorney’s calendar and communications, maintain smooth office operations, and ensure every client receives compassionate, detail-oriented service during some of life’s most sensitive transitions. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, thrives on responsibility, and believes that excellence and empathy go hand in hand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the attorney’s calendar, email inbox, and scheduling with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Welcome clients with warmth, empathy, and discretion.
  • Proofread, scan, and assemble legal documents with precision and confidentiality.
  • Maintain organized office systems and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Assist with referral programs, community outreach, and speaking opportunities.
  • Support process improvements and office efficiencies.
  • Serve as a notary public (or be willing to obtain certification, paid by the attorney).
  • Act as a witness during client document signings.
