Union Day of Caring

United Way of Greater Charlotte serving Union County is excited to host our annual Day of Caring on Saturday, August 29th at Wingate University, and we would love for your organization to get involved. This countywide initiative brings together hundreds of volunteers to complete service projects supporting elderly and disabled residents across Union County. We help with projects around the house like raking, washing windows, cleaning gutters, small painting jobs outside, trimming bushes, and cleaning garden beds. 
 
The day will begin with a kickoff at 8:00 AM, followed by service projects starting at 9:00 AM. We encourage you to gather your team and join us for a rewarding day of service. Team captains, we will have training in August to go over the event logistics, provide t-shirts and answer any questions before the event.
