Rachel was born in Western New York but raised in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina (And yes, she is a Buffalo Bills fan). She earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication and a minor in Business Administration from East Carolina University and her master’s in healthcare administration from the University of Pheonix. Rachel has 15 years of experience in community engagement, cultivating relationships, nonprofit support and healthcare administration. 
Rachel joined Atrium Health in October of 2015 and since then has accrued an extensive background in patient experience, teammate engagement and strategic growth. Rachel is the Manager of Business Operations for Atrium Health Union West, Union County’s newest hospital located in Stallings. As the Manager of Business Operations, Rachel drives for operational efficiency, leads initiatives to enhance patient experience, and manages community outreach with the goal that patients “Know us before they need us.” 
Rachel is married to her husband, Randall, and has two children: Luke and Evie. You can often find Rachel and Randall on a ballfield, in a basketball gym or at a dance competition cheering on Luke and Evie at their various sporting events. In addition, Rachel loves serving at her church, First Baptist Church Marshville, as a Kingdom Kids teacher for kindergarten and first grade students.
