The month of October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Show your solidarity to breast cancer patients and survivors at this community walk at Wingate University. Walkers will enjoy a route that takes them around the Promenade at the heart of campus.

All walkers will be joined by over 100 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to create a uniquely inclusive event benefitting breast cancer awareness. The event is being organized by Union Diversified Industries, Union County's oldest non-profit for adults with IDD.

There is no cost to participate in the walk, but if you would like to make a donation all proceeds will be given to the Charlotte based non-profit Go Jen Go.
