Many people have a passion to volunteer to help improve their community, but don't know where to start. Many may also not be aware of all of the most pressing needs in their neighborhoods and towns. Join us for an informative event on some of the most pressing needs in our community, along with efforts to alleviate those needs.
The Emerging Leaders Program equips future influential decision-makers in Union County with comprehensive professional and personal skills, engaged civic knowledge, and active community service.
To that end, we are hosting an informative philanthropy workshop. You'll hear from several nonprofits serving Union County's most vulnerable populations, as well as from a seasoned volunteer and explore opportunities at our Non-Profit Mini Expo.
This event will provide practical advice on effective volunteering and the impact of dedication in community service. Our speaker, Dylan Hales, will share their journey and offer tips on making a difference. Following the talk, the Non-Profit Mini Expo will feature various organizations that serves Union County's most vulnerable populations, allowing attendees to connect with representatives, learn about their missions, and discover how they can contribute. Whether you're new or experienced, this event is a great opportunity to enhance your volunteering skills and find new ways to give back to the community.
To join the Emerging Leaders Program (membership information can be found here) and attend all 4 luncheons and 2 seminars will have the opportunity to receive a professionally produced headshot.
