Dr. Darricka Sorrells is a human capital strategist, professional speaker, and associate professor. She is a business owner and partners with Catapult Employers Association to provide member organizations and businesses with learning and development opportunities, human resources consultation, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) initiatives, an area for which she is certified and an advocate.
Through her work over more than 25 years, Dr. Sorrells has helped individuals increase their knowledge and achieve professional goals; and, she has partnered with many organizations within various industries to transform culture, grow their businesses, and obtain success.
Dr. Sorrells holds Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I), Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), and strategic Human Resources Business Partner (sHRBP) certifications to name a few. She earned her bachelor’s degree from High Point University, a master’s degree from Central Michigan University, and a doctorate degree from Regent University. Most recently, Dr. Sorrells was recommended, accepted, and graduated from United Way’s Volunteer Involvement Program (VIP). Growing people and helping organizations achieve success are her passions.
