Alliance for Children invites the community to celebrate the expansion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the official opening of their new Training Room addition. After the ceremony, guests are welcome to tour the new training space, enjoy refreshments, and participate in networking opportunities.
Alliance for Children serves Union County's children from birth to age five, along with their families, to prepare them for kindergarten and beyond. The organization is dedicated to advocating for and investing in initiatives that enhance the health, education, and emotional development of these children. As the administrator of the NC Pre-K program, they provide high-quality pre-kindergarten experiences to qualifying families.
In celebration of Smart Start Month, the event also acknowledges the significant impact Smart Start has had on North Carolina's children and families over the past 30 years. The new training center will offer a space for small parent groups, provider groups, and the broader Union County community to learn, collaborate, and plan in partnership with Alliance for Children, a proud network affiliate of Smart Start.
