Buzz & Bloom Media is looking to expand our network of freelance graphic designers for ongoing project-based work.

We're seeking a detail-oriented designer with 3+ years of professional experience who is comfortable handling production-focused design projects across both print and digital mediums. This is not a senior-level branding role. We're looking for someone who enjoys executing established brand systems, preparing production-ready files, and supporting client projects with accuracy and efficiency.

This is an ideal opportunity for a junior-to-mid-level designer who can work independently, manage deadlines, and jump into client work as needed.

Responsibilities may include:

• Creating social media graphics and digital marketing assets

• Adapting existing creative into multiple sizes and formats

• Preparing print-ready files for production

• Designing marketing collateral, signage, and promotional materials

• Packaging updates and production artwork

• Large-format design for banners, trade shows, and environmental graphics

• Maintaining brand consistency across client deliverables

• Supporting client projects on a project-by-project basis

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional graphic design experience

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

• Comfortable working within Canva when needed

• Experience preparing files for commercial printing and production

• Understanding of bleed, trim, color modes, file setup, and print specifications

• Experience working with packaging templates and dielines

• Familiarity with large-format printing requirements

• Strong attention to detail and file organization

• Ability to work independently and self-manage deadlines

Preferred Experience:

• Consumer packaged goods (CPG), food, or beverage brands

• Print production and packaging design

• Signage, trade show, and large-format graphics

• Marketing agency or in-house marketing team experience

Location:
Preference will be given to freelancers located in North Carolina, particularly within or near the Charlotte metro area.
