Customer Service Representative

Customer Service Representative will be responsible for servicing accounts and assisting producers with daily, weekly, and monthly tasks. 

Description:

  • Personal Lines/Commercial CSR will greet people and attend to inquiries made by phone or in person.

  • Ability to qualify potential call ins as customers, which includes quoting, selling and binding property and casualty coverages.

  • Ability to service existing customers of agency.

Personal lines/Commercial CSR, duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Greet persons entering establishment, determines nature and purpose of visit, and direct visitors to specific destination, or answers questions and provides information

  • Answers the telephone to provide information, or forward the call to the appropriate person

  • Transmits information or documents to customers, using computer, mail

  • Manages files and records and other office procedures as assigned

  • Open incoming mail, and organize outgoing and posting of mail

  • Performs other related duties as required

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Ability to operate standard office equipment, including but not limited to copies, computers (Word and Excel)

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with staff, employees and public

  • Able to meet deadlines

  • Well organized

  • Enjoy teamwork

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma

  • Minimum of three-five years experience (Preferred / Not Required)

  • North Carolina/South Carolina Property and Casualty Licensed

  • Knowledge of agency management systems
