You know marketing is essential to grow your business, but you are also overwhelmed with the plethora of marketing channels and tactics out there. Which social media sites should you focus on? How many emails should you send to prospects? Do you need to start a podcast?
The confusion over which marketing strategy to focus on keeps many companies and marketing departments trapped on a hamster wheel, constantly moving, but not getting anywhere.
We've invited Jeni Bukolt, founder of HAVEN Creative Agency to share a presentation to demystify marketing, helping you make smart decisions and strategic efforts that will help your business survive and thrive.
She will help clarify:
- - Identifying your target audience
- - Which social media channels work best for your target audience
- - Must-know strategies around your website and email channels.
Jeni Bukolt’s passions include many things: snarky t-shirts, warring against socks and sandals as a fashion trend and, most importantly, community building. Her career in marketing and video production lent itself more readily to community building, which is how she ended up as Founder and CEO for HAVEN Creative LLC, a community branding agency located in Waxhaw, NC. HAVEN focuses on clients in government, business, or nonprofits who seek to build community within and around their organizations through storytelling and branding.
Her journey with HAVEN didn’t start with the goal of being an entrepreneur, CEO, or even creating a full branding agency. In 2012, Jeni needed work to support her family while job hunting and paying for childcare. The agency started with a small personal loan and a single laptop; she would be the first to tell you that her goals did not include growing a business. Almost a decade later, HAVEN has a growing client list in multiple states, five full-time employees, and a steadily growing list of award-winning branding projects.
Jeni’s passion for building community has led to multiple opportunities outside of client work. When not crafting brand stories or marketing plans, Jeni participates in the Entrepreneur Organization Accelerator (EOA) program and serves as a Board Member for EOA Charlotte. She also looks for opportunities to mentor young girls and entrepreneurs to encourage others to see opportunities she did not initially.
