SUMMARY:Strategic Listening Techniques : Emerging Leaders Luncheon
DESCRIPTION:The goal of this session is toequip the attendees with listening and communication skills that allow them to  solve problems\, make decisions\, and build relationships faster.  All attending leaders will learn to apply the key components of The Disciplined Listening Method in their daily roles.  At the end of the session the audience will walk away with new skills\, perspectives and techniques including the ability to adapt their approach to listening\, understand their audience's needs\, create commitment over compliance\, and encourage their audiences to save face while engaging in difficult conversations. \n\n\n\nMichael Reddington\, CFI is a conversation strategist and Certified Forensic Interviewer. Organizations partner with Michael when they need a resource to teach their leaders how to author the approaches\, recognize the critical observations\, and ask the compelling questions that generate breakthroughs in their high value conversations.\n\n\n\nMichael has been committed to the practice of encouraging reluctant people to tell the truth for over 20 years. As the President of InQuasive\, Inc.\, Michael leads a group focused on equipping senior leaders\, negotiators\, and sales professionals with the specific strategies and techniques required to obtain the intelligence they've been missing.\n\n\n\nPrior to founding InQuasive\, Michael spent a decade working for Wicklander-Zulawski and Associates (WZ). During his time with WZ Michael ran their investigations division\, travelled the globe teaching investigators how to elicit the truth with rapport-based techniques\, and earned the Outstanding Contribution Award from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. He still serves on the board of advisors for the International Association of Interviewers.\n\n\n\nThe Emerging Leaders Program equips future influential decision-makers in Union County with comprehensive professional and personal skills\, engaged civic knowledge\, and active community service.
