DESCRIPTION:Please join us for the "2016 State of Union County" featuring Cindy Coto\, County Manager for Union County\, NC.  This is an opportunity to hear directly from the county manager about the current status of our county government and its impact on Union County businesses.  In addition\, Ms. Coto will provide information about the direction of the county's vision for the future and how that will impact the business community.\n\n\n\n \n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCynthia Coto has been the County Manager for the County of Union since November 15\, 2010. \n\nPrior to being Union County?s Manager\, Ms. Coto was the County Manager in Seminole County\, Florida for 3 ½ years and Volusia County\, Florida for 5 years. \n\nMs. Coto earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida in liberal studies with an emphasis in business administration\, elementary education\, social science and humanities.   She has been a member of ICMA (International City/County Management Association) for 35 years and is a credentialed manager. \n\nMs. Coto is a member of the North Carolina Association of County Commissioners\, the North Carolina City/County Manager Association\, a Board Member of the United Way of Union County and a Board Member of the Monroe Rotary.
