DESCRIPTION:Understanding the importance of community involvement and advocacy helps you become a more informed advocate for business-friendly legislation and policy.\n\n \n\nBrian Francis serves as the public policy consultant for the Union County Chamber. In this program\, he shares his expertise on being an effective advocate.  The program includes information on how to become engaged in civic affairs and a role-playing exercise that will allow participants the opportunity to practice developing messaging\, strategy\, and tactics to advance public policy.\n\n \nMembers who join the Emerging Leaders Program (membership information can be found here) and attend all 4 luncheons and 2 seminars will have the opportunity to receive a professionally produced headshot.\n\n\n\nThe Emerging Leaders Program equips future influential decision-makers in Union County with comprehensive professional and personal skills\, engaged civic knowledge\, and active community service.
