DESCRIPTION:South Piedmont's NEW Industry Workforce Advantage provides opportunities to enhance your skills.  Qualifying Industries include Manufacturing\, Life Science\, Information Technology\, Call Center\, Warehouse Distribution\, and National Headquarters located in Anson or Union County.\n\n \nThere are different ways to communicate appreciation and encouragement to others. Individuals value a certain language more than another. The most effective communication of appreciation and encouragement occurs when the message is sent in the language of appreciation most valued by the receiver. Messages of appreciation and encouragement in languages not valued by the recipient will tend to miss the mark. This course teaches participants to understand their own most preferred language of appreciation\, recognize the blind spots they may have for others' preferred language\, and learn to communicate appreciation effectively to others.\n\nUpon completion of this course\, participants will be able to:\n\n\n	The concept of languages of appreciation and the value that it can create for team members\n	Ten ideas on how to apply appreciation to others
