Pass the Plate-Monroe is an opportunity to share the story of the Community Shelter through the voices of the clients we serve. This is an opportunity to here real clients, with real challenges, that were helped by real solutions provided by Union County Community Shelter.
This fundraiser is a “free” event for our guests to attend. Guests will receive a complimentary breakfast and are promised a brief program to honor the 7:30 am to 8:45 am timeframe.
All proceeds benefit the shelter programs. UCCS serves anyone who is hungry and has economic obstacles to feeding themselves or their family. In addition to our Soup Kitchen, we shelter approximately 600 adults and family members annually who have found themselves homeless. Through our drug-free shelter and rapid re-housing programs for men, women, and children, we are helping families move from homelessness to permanent housing.
You have the opportunity be a part of this great network of hope and help by participating in our Pass the Plate-Monroe.
